Forrona Hall, formerly of Arcona Street and Spring Street, Summerside, passed away peacefully at the Wedgewood Manor on Saturday, January 31, 2009. Born in Bideford, P.E.I., in 1926, she was the daughter of the late Aldred and Estey (Allen) England. She is survived by her sons Robert (Jane) Hall, Sydney, N.S., and Brenton (Pam) Hall, Mansfield, Illinois; and by her granchildren David, Steven, Nathan, Allen, Janice & Donnie Hall. Predeceased by her husband J. Hubert Hall; brothers Winston & Allison England; twin brother Frank England and by a sister Thelma England. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Forrona spent many years working at Scotiabank & Hyndman’s Insurance in Summerside. She was an avid gardener and loved spending time in her beautiful backyard. A talented artist, her many paintings and needlepoint works will be cherished by her family. She was a devoted Nanny to her 6 grandchildren and took great pleasure from their visits. She will be dearly missed. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside with interment in People’s Cemetery, Summerside.
