Armorel Viola Garcin
We, the family of Armorel Viola Garcin, wish to extend our appreciation to all those who attended her service, sent food, flowers, and warmly remembered her with us.
We are thankful for the outpouring of love and memories from her beloved community. We heard stories filled with humour, compassion and sincere friendship. How wonderful to meet her neighbors around ValleyView Drive. You have built a community, where your neighbors are cared for, and your generous spirit will always be remembered. As we gathered as a family following our final goodbye, we spoke of Dexter (Joan) Fudge, Roxie (Dit) Dennis, Heather & Mike Collins, Maude & Dave Burt, Marilyn and Melvin Kinden, and Barb and Ron Downey - wonderful neighbours, who made sure she was watched over throughout the years.
We'd like to thank her pall bearers, Ron Downey, Dexter Fudge, David Burt, Gary Mullins, Melvin Kinden & John Healey.
We are especially grateful to the team at the Western Memorial Restorative Care Unit (Dr Westby, Glen Wiseman and their devoted team). We are so grateful that her last few months were in your care. As well, the comfort offered by Dr. Desiree Dunn from the Palliative Care Unit of the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, was greatly appreciated.
We loved the sea of white blouses, worn by the women's auxiliary from the First United Church of Corner Brook. Armorel loved her church, and was a proud member of Reverend Clayton Parsons' congregation. Thank you for being with us.
