It is with great sadness that the family of the late Harold Barter announce his passing on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at his family residence in Stephenville Crossing, NL at the age of 72 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Florence; children: Cal (Anna) Barter, Shelly (Norm) Muise, Mandy (Stephen) Parsons, Tim (Jill) Barter, James Barter; grandchildren: Ryan, Kenneth, Rylea, Nathan, Evan, Katie, Hiliary, Wendy, Kelsea, Hayley, Taylor, Gavin, Lauren, Bronwen; great-grandchildren: Amarah, Layla, Arriah; brothers: Sam, Larry, Bruce, Ross; sisters: Sheila Dwyer, Alma Arsenault, Cavelle Lucas as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, other family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Victor and Hilda Barter. A celebration of his life will take place at Fillatre's Funeral Home in Stephenville Crossing on Saturday, July 25, 2015 from 7-9 p.m. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. The family request that in lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society be made to honour Harold's life.
