The death occurred peacefully at the Souris Hospital on July 26, 2015 of Eugene Russell of Five Houses, age 73 years.
Lovingly remembered by companion Catherine MacKinnon and her children Jennifer (Russell), Yvonne (Jim), Donelda (Wesley), Johnny (Kim), and Melvin (Jeannie).
Survived by sisters and brothers Georgina Morrison, Rena Messervey, Stashie MacKinnon, Mary (Ron) Wilson, Anne Masters, Frank Russell, Clara (Ed) Marshall, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by parents Ernest and Ruth (MacDonald) Russell, sister Theresa, and brothers Emmett, Alvin, and Gerard.
Resting at the Dr. Roddie Community Center in St. Peter's on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. No visitation on morning of funeral by personal request.
Funeral to be held at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, July 30, 2015 with funeral mass to be celebrated at 2 p.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Donations to the Souris Hospital would be appreciated.
