Miramichi – Marjorie Rubina Lamkey, of Winnipeg Crescent, Miramichi, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Thursday, July 30, 2015, at the age of 87.

Born in Paspebiac, Que., on February 23, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Roland and Evelyn (Watt) Hayes. She was a homemaker, and a hairdresser by profession. She attended St. Marys / St. Pauls Anglican Church, Miramichi.

She is survived by one daughter, Brenda Trevors – Paynter (Carmen), of Deep Brook, NS; two sons, Dale Trevors (Caroline) and Vimy Trevors (Cindy), all of Miramichi; one sister, Eileen Allen (Stan), of Edmonton, AB; one brother, Lyall Hayes (Joyce), of New Carlisle; six grandchildren, Jeff, Christopher, Marsha, Greg, Jennifer, Rebecca,; one great grandchild, Nova. She was predeceased by her first husband, Benson Trevors; her second husband, David Lamkey; one daughter, Sheila Trevors; one brother, Douglas Hayes; one sister, Evelyn Mills.

Visiting will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd. on Monday evening from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held from St. Pauls Anglican Church, Miramichi, on Tuesday, August 4, 2015, at 11 am, conducted by Rev. Gordon Thompson. Interment will be in St. Pauls Cemetery, Miramichi.
