On March 24, 2008 Mr. Henry Heale passed away suddenly at the age of 77 years. He is survived by his loving wife June of 54 years; his daughters: Valerie (Ernie) Lambert of Vancouver Island, B.C. and Vicki (Norman) Van Zanten of Onoway, AB; grandchildren: Michael, Melanie, Sandra (Brad), Teicha, Victoria, Jesse; and two great-grandchildren: Joshua and Tegan; sisters: Dorothy (Hubert) Ash and Jessie (Jim) Young; brothers: Bill (Dorothy) Heale and Rex Heale; numerous extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents Art and Jessie Heale and one brother Jack Heale. Henry served 25 years in the Royal Canadian Air Force and 14 years with Public Works Canada. In his younger days, Henry was a member of St. Thomas Anglican Church and the Church Lads Brigade. While living in the Comox Valley, Henry was an active member in the Comox Valley Presbyterian Church and also the Cumberland Community Church. Since 2005 Henry has been attending the Onoway Baptist Church and was a standing member in the Onoway Canadian Legion and Dart Club & Seniors Club of Onoway. Visitation will be Friday, March 28, 2008 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm at the Onoway Baptist Church, 5036 – 48 Ave, Onoway, AB, where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2008 at 1:00 pm. Interment to follow in the Onoway Baptist Cemetery. Donations in Henry's memory can be made to the M.S. Society or Alzheimer Society.
