1930 -2015
James "Jim" Lee, 85. of the Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home and formerly of Sussex Avenue, Riverview passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 2, 2015 at his residence. Born in the Chelsea District of London.
Jim joined the British Army as a boy soldier in 1945. He served in the musical regiment and was posted throughout Europe, the Middle East and the Far East. Following his retirement from the British Military in 1957, he joined the Canadian Armed Forces, Black Watch Battalion, until his retirement in 1977, where after he worked in the financial industry.
Jim was a very gifted musician and enjoyed playing in numerous concerts and dance bands.
He was predeceased by his wife Vella (Clifford) Lee.
He is survived by his common law wife, faithful and loving companion, Stella Hau.
Honoring Jim’s request there will be no visitation, a private interment service will take place at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens at a later date. Donations to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
