SHAW, MARGUERITE
At the Grand Falls General Hospital, August 1, 2015, Mrs. Marguerite Shaw of Plaster Rock passed away at the age of 86. She was the widow of Perley Shaw who passed away in 1988. Born at Tilley in 1929, she was a daughter of the late Reuben and Effie (Tompkins) Goodine.
She is survived by two children, Linda McKillop of Plaster Rock (Dana) and Dana Shaw of Arthurette, six grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, one brother, Herbie Goodine (Audrey) of the Perth-Andover Villa, one sister, Elva Larsen (Keith) of Southington, CT, brother-in-law, Mervyn Shannon (late Velva) of Pembroke, ON, several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, her son Dennis Shaw, and granddaughter Tanya Shaw, siblings, Beatrice Demerchant, Geneva Keirstead, Shirley Shaw, Edith Taylor, Roy Goodine, Clem Goodine and Velva Shannon.
Mrs. Shaw will be resting at Family Worship Center, Plaster Rock with visiting hours on Tuesday, August 4th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Her funeral service will be held from the church on Wednesday, August 5th at 11 a.m. with son-in-law, Rev. D.H. McKillop and grandsons, Rev. D.R. McKillop and Rev. D.C. McKillop officiating. Interment will be at Linton Corner Cemetery.
