Passed peacefully away, after a lengthy illness, at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on August 3, 2015. Predeceased by his beautiful granddaughter Gabrielle. Leaving to mourn his wife Phyllis; son Tony (Linda Candow); grandsons Curtis and Brandon; daughter Kelly (Calvin Hewitt); grandchildren Christian, Dylan and Dakota; sister Mary (Jack) Wells; brothers Dave (Lorraine) and Tommy. He will be missed by his close friends on Cape Pond Road. Special thanks to Dr. Paul Heneghan, Dr. Grant Harrington and the staff and nurses on 5 East at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital. At Charles' request cremation has taken place. Receiving of friends will take place at St. Thomas' Canon Wood Hall, Military Road, on Thursday, August 6, 2015 from 3-6 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
