1956 - 2015
It is with great sadness that the family of Walter Williams Jr. announce his sudden passing at his home in Hawkes Bay at the age of 59. He leaves to mourn his brother Frederick (Freddie) Williams of Bay Roberts, Aunt Rowena Toope of St. Anthony, Uncle Jake Toope of Anchor Point, nieces, nephews, cousins, his loving and caring foster parents Jose and Dennis Penney. He was predeceased by his parents Walter Williams Sr. and Alma (Nee Toope) and sister Joan. The family want to extend a special thank you to all of his home care workers over the past years for their love and kindness toward "Wally". Visitation was held at the Pentecostal Church in Hawkes Bay on Monday evening and Tuesday from where the funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 5 at 2 pm with Pastor Trevor Deering officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery in Black Duck Cove. Arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, Port au Choix.
