(Porter) With precious memories and deep appreciation for her life, we the family announce her passing at home in Long Pond, on Wednesday, March 26, 2008. She is predeceased by her husband Sam in 2001. Left to carry on her legacy are her children Jim (Freda), Betty, Stan (Yvonne), Marilyn (Barry Dunn), Faye (Ira Bowering) and Barry (Renee Meaney); grandchildren Ron Kennedy (Jackie), Renee (Randy Mullins), Mike Dunn (Jen Aitken), Adam Dunn, Eric Dunn and her special "doctor" Luke Kennedy; great-grandchildren Larkin and Lance Kennedy and Grace Mullins; sister Lily (Major Norman); brothers Stan (May) and Fred (Elaine); brother-in-law Les Kennedy (Alice); also, a large circle of family and friends. The family wishes to thank her devoted and compassionate caregivers Ella Abbott, Bonnie Petten, Delores Sheppard, Joan Adams, Gloria Baird and Marg Martin for their love and care over the past seven years.
