It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Kent Pardoe on Aug. 6, 2015, loving wife and best friend of Steve Pardoe, Hinchinbrooke, Que. and devoted mother to Kristine Moore (Cliff VanKempen) Barrie, Ont. Linda is also survived by her sisters, Diane (Greg Gillis), Allison (Raymond Boudreau), Claire (Michael McDonald), Ruth (Dave Porcellato) and Cynthia (Kevin West); Catherine and Bill Coady, a special aunt and uncle from Mount Pearl, Nfld.; her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, Leonard and Betty (Burke) Kent, Nfld. Visitation will be held at Rodrique Montpetit & Fils Inc. funeral home, 170 Chateauguay St., Huntingdon, Que. on Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2015 from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, Aug. 13 at 11 a.m. at St John's Anglican Church, Huntingdon. Private burial.
