Passed peacefully away on August 7, 2015 after a short battle with cancer, at the Palliative Care Unit, Barbara Hart (nee Combden), age 76, formerly of Barr`d Islands. Predeceased by her parents Julia and Joseph; brothers: Edward and Willlie; sisters-in-law: Beryl (Martin) and Elena; brother-in-law Jack (Decker); and niece Julia. Leaving to mourn her husband Charlie; daughters Jackie (Leo), Verna (Al); sons: Barry (Cathy), Paul (Winnie); sisters: Eileen, Clara (Lambert); brothers: Fred (Jill), Don (Stella), Eric (Sue), Edmond (Elsie), Ross (Rose); sister-in-law Edna (Freddie), Valarie; brother-in-law Wilson; grandchildren: Lisa (Craig), Jennifer, Maggie (Patrick), Michael (Jenn), Samantha (Ian), Melissa, Nick (Katie), Dylan (Ashley), Miranda (Austin), and Candace (Curtis); great-grandchildren: Emily and Liam, Kylie and Jacob, and one on the way; special niece Valerie Halley; as well as a large number of other family members and friends. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses of St. Clare's, Health Sciences Centre and the Palliative Care Unit. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl from 4-9 p.m. on Saturday and from 2-9 p.m. on Sunday. Funeral Service to take place from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Goulds at 2 p.m. on Monday, August 10, 2015. Interment to follow at St. Matthew`s Cemetery.
