It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear loved one, Marie Tobin (née Dobbin), on August 8, 2015 at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital. A mother to many she was greatly loved for her charm, kindness and generosity. She was predeceased by her parents John and Kathleen Dobbin, daughter Mary, sister Theresa, brother Gerry, sister-in-law Georgina and brother-in-law Harvey. She will be sadly missed by her devoted and loving husband of 47 years, Johnny Tobin. Also leaving to mourn with many fond and loving memories daughter Roxanne (Glenn); sons Ian (Kara), Brian (Brenda), Darren (Delphine); grandchildren: Alexander, Chloe, Gillian, Kain, Hailey and Kellan; sisters: Anne (Jim), Irene, Margie (Freddy), Edwina (Bill) and Catherine; brothers: Casmir (Susan), John (Mona), Randy (Lori) and Mickey, sister-in-law Irene and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A special thank you is extended to the staff of 2SW and 2NE, St. John's Long-Term Care Facility and to the staff of 4th floor, St. Clare's Mercy Hospital for their help, care and support during the past 9 months. Also a special thanks to the "Best of Care" staff, Brenda, Sherry and Sandy for their great support and kindness. Resting at Gibbons' Funeral Home, St. Mary's, on Monday, August 10, from 7-9 pm and Tuesday, August 11, 2-4 pm; 7-9 pm (no visitation on Wednesday). Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, August 12, at 10 am, at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, St. Mary's. Interment to follow.
