PIERCE, Deborah Jean

Peacefully at McNally House in Grimsby, Deborah (Debbie) Pierce passed away on August 10, 2015 at age 60. She was the daughter of Hubert (Bert) and the late Jean (Wright) Crozier in Moncton NB. Debbie is survived by her husband Mark Pierce, son Corey (Nicole) Pierce of Toronto, daughters Katie of St Catharines and Brittany of Edmonton AB, brothers James (Joan) of Barachois NB, Richard (Ruth) Crozier of Browns Flats NB, John (Karen) Crozier of Saint John NB and sisters Judy (Duncan) McDonald of Liscomb NS and Nancy (Kevin) Mahoney of Doaktown NB and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mothers Jean and Emma (Wright) Crozier, her 1st husband Ronald MacDougall and cherished friends Reginald and Edith Farmer.
Debbie will be remembered as a devoted and loving wife and mother who excelled in her culinary skills. A special thank you to Lois Moore for being the family’s unsung hero throughout Debbie’s illness.
Visitation will be at The Church of the Transfiguration, 320 Glenridge Ave. St. Catharines, on Saturday August 15th from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. The funeral service will be at 11:00 am at the church. Private burial will be in Victoria Lawns Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or McNally House Hospice.
