It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ronald Lidstone of Deer Lake, formerly of Roddickton(Dec. 26, 1937–Aug. 9, 2015) announces his passing on Sunday, August 9, 2015 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 77 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 57 years Leah (nee Simms); children Terry (Judy), Rick (Joanne), Dean (Michelle), Lisa (Barry) and Sandra (Dean); grandchildren Kariss (Charles), Ricky (Joanne), Charmaine (Bob), Ben, Michael, Hope and L.J.; great-grandchildren Karlee Rae, Heather, Desiree, Alex and Julianna; brothers and sisters Monty, Larry, Rob, Paul, Dawn, Sandra, Wanda, Paulette and Sharon, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Harris and Gertrude Lidstone. Visitation took place at Calgary Pentecostal Church in Roddickton on Wednesday from where the funeral service was held on Thursday, August 13 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Peter Grimes officiating. Interment followed at the Pentecostal Cemetery in Roddickton. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to Calgary Pentecostal Church in Roddickton or Emmanuel Pentecostal Church in Deer Lake.
