We the family of the late Douglas Howard Stevens wish to express our sincere thanks to our family, friends and neighbours for the kindness shown to us during our recent loss. For all of those who visited, called, emailed, sent sympathy cards, flowers, food and memorial donations to the Palliative Care unit of the Cape Breton Regional Hospital or the Lung Association of Nova Scotia, we truly appreciate your thoughtfulness and kindness. We appreciate those who travelled distances to attend the funeral. A special thank you to the Palliative Care unit, the staff at Chant's Funeral Home, musicians, singers, lay reader and especially Rev. Laura McCue. To everyone who remembered us in your thoughts and prayers, your acts of kindness will never be forgotten.
