Aged 89 years, formerly of Brigus South passed peacefully away, surrounded by her family, on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at Lakeside Homes, Gander. She was predeceased by: husband John, daughter Mary Vaters, and granddaughter Michelle. Leaving to cherish her memory: daughter Trudy (Eric) Wright; son Eric (Dianne); granddaughter Lisa (Darren) Sooley; six great-grandchildren; sister Rita (John) Lahey; sisters-in-law: Mary Dwyer and Agnes (Cyril) Ford, Loretta Brushett, and Ethel Hayes; brother-in-law Leo (Florence); as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, Glenwood. Visitation will take place on Tuesday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 2 pm, with interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Glenwood. Flowers in her memory are graciously accepted.
