We, the family of the late Jessie Butts would like to extend our sincere and heartfelt thanks to our families, friends and neighbors for their love and support during our time of great loss. For all your acts of kindness, we will be forever grateful. Special thanks to Dr. Michel McKeough and Louise, for your dedication and care of Mom over the years, and to Dr. Pahil and staff at the Cape Breton Cancer Center. To the nurses and staff of 5 East and 4 West of Northside General Hospital for your care and kindness, we will be eternally grateful. Thank you to the dietary staff of both Northside and Harbour View Hospitals, and a special thank you to Bev Aker for all Mom’s special treats. Thank you to Mom’s special niece, Barbara Jean Gillis, who was always there for Mom throughout the years. Thank you Belinda Gillis for being there throughout Mom’s illness, and to Sheila Finney (Mom always looked forward to Friday mornings with you and the girls).
Special thank you to Christine MacFarlane, Bev Scullen, Theresa Jardine, Jean Robertson, Barb MacLeod, and Edith Carroll for the honor guard…Mom would have been proud. To Rev. Arthur Nash and his wife Emily for the spiritual guidance and beautiful service, to Pencie Granchelli, Bill Boutilier, organist Allan Murray and the choir of Trinity Anglican Church, our heartfelt thanks. Thank you also to the Ladies Auxiliary of Trinity Church for your time and generous luncheon after the service. Our sincere thanks to Manning Jobes and the staff of J. M. Jobes Funeral Home for the kindness and compassion shown to us at this most difficult time.
