It is with great sadness that the family of the late ALEXANDER CLARKE of Little St. Lawrence announces his passing at the U.S. Memorial Health Care Centre in St. Lawrence, on Thursday, August 20th, 2015, at the age of 82. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are wife, Mildred of 61 years; sons, Larry (Connie) of St. Lawrence, Loyola (Cherlyn) of St. John’s, Vince (Shannon) of Houston, BC and Clyde (Alice) of Hampton, NB; daughter, Stella Turpin (Warren) of Little St. Lawrence; 10 grandchildren, Mallory, Kendra, Christopher, Dayna, Matthew, Heidi, Jeremy, Ashley, Stephen & Todd; 7 great-grandchildren, Naiomi, Isabelle, Connor, Corey, Olivia, Sophie & Clark; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Ignatius & Mary Clarke; sisters, Agnes Doyle, Catherine Tarrant & Rita Haley; brother, Joseph Clarke.

The Mass of Christian Burial took place on Monday, August 24th, at 2:00 p.m., from St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church in St. Lawrence. Interment followed at Mount Cecilia Roman Catholic Cemetery in St. Lawrence. In Alexander’s memory donations may be made to Mount Cecilia R.C. Cemetery Fund or flowers gratefully accepted.
