Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 88 years, from the Corner Brook Long Term Care Facility on Friday, August 28, 2015. Left to mourn her children: Richard (Jackie) Curtis, Sandra Parsons, Rosalind Williams, Faye (Wayne) Oates, and Gail (Brian) Gushue; grandchildren: Kim (Joe) O'Keefe, Glen (Deanne) Curtis, Robin (Nicolle) Parsons, Geoff (Krista) Parsons, Janice Williams, Heather Williams (Alec Lelievre), Todd (Penny) Curtis, Becky (Jeff) Johnson, Stephanie (John) Cherwinski, Alan Gushue (Marie Carew), and Justin Gushue (Sherry Cooper); great-grandchildren: Jon, Ryan and Andrew O'Keefe, Joshua, Jessica and Jacob Curtis, Hailee, Devon, Brianna and Isabella Parsons, Rachel Parsons, Donovan Bryan, Jason and Nicole Curtis, and Jaxon Johnson; brother Roy Locke and family; sister Dorothy Campbell and family; brother-in-law David Curtis, and all extended family and friends. Predeceased by her husband John (Jack) Curtis, son Wayne Curtis, father Hedley Locke, mother Dulcie Locke, brother Baxter Locke, sister Grace Bennett, grandson Jason Curtis, and son-in-law Robert Williams. Visitation will be held at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Canon Roberta Woodman officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. All are welcome to attend.
