Pat Primeau
Pat Primeau (Patrick Robert William Primeau)
Feb 8, 1933 to Aug 21, 2015
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our most beloved dad, Pat Primeau. Words cannot express how we feel losing such a loving, humble and caring man.
In his younger days Dad enjoyed fishing, trapping and hunting. He played the guitar, had a wonderful singing voice and loved to dance. There was always room at Dad’s table to feed a friend or a stranger. We have seen Dad find a stranger sleeping in his car, bring him into the house, feed him a meal, give him a few bucks and drive him to where he needed to go. Dad taught us by example, his compassion for others is what our family lives by today.
As Dad would say, he was a jack of all trades but master of none. He quit school in grade six and went to work delivering kegs of beer for the brewery. He also worked for the City of Prince Albert, he was a heavy equipment operator for a few different companies, and spent his last years of work as a self-employed painter and stuccoer.
He is survived by his partner Marj Williams, his children, Tom, Peggy (Ken), Barbara (Albert), Heather, Sandra (Ron), James, Marj's son Mike (Angie) and brother Gordon (Darlene) Garson, 19 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by his wife Mary, daughter Patricia, son Elliott, granddaughter Charmaine, mother May Garson, grandparents Sadie & Joe Primeau, in-laws Stan & Augustine Henry, son-in-law Kent Kreller, sister-in-laws Gwen, Doreen & Freda, and brother-in-laws Wayne, John, Alvin, Robert & Joe.
A memorial service will be held at the Nordale Hall on Thursday, Sept 3 at 1:00. Thank you to Martens Warman Funeral Home in Warman.
