LEGER, MARIE-LOUISE
Marie-Louise Leger of Foyer Beau Souvenir, Dieppe (formerly of McGinley) passed away at the CHU Dr. Georges L. Dumont surrounded by her loving family on Sunday August 30, 2015 at the age of 90. Born in Margaree, NS on September 15, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Arsene and Rosanne (Cormier) LeBlanc.
Marie-Louise was a kind and generous person who never asked for much but appreciated life’s simplest things. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, devoting much of her life to her family.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Murielle (Rheal) Gaudet of Belliveau Village; her three precious grandchildren: Chantal (Edouard) Bourgeois, Christian (Catherine) and Celine (Philippe) Nadeau; three special great grandchildren: Amy, Zoé and Bianca; two sisters, Therese (Bobby) Deveau of Moncton and Zoé (late Clary) Philips of Halifax; three brothers, Levi (Mary-Hatie) LeBlanc of Margaree, NS, Joseph (Telma) LeBlanc of Halifax and Louis (Charlotte) LeBlanc of Bedford, NS, one sister-in-law, Edmee and by several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Gerard S. (2001); four sisters, Lucie-Marie, Annie-Rose, Julia and Lucie-May and by one brother, Francis.
Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Monday, August 31 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm only. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday September 1 at Saint Thomas de Memramcook Roman Catholic Church, St-Joseph at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
