We the family of the late Anne Michelle (White) Curtis wish to extend our deepest appreciation to family, friends and neighbors who shared our grief during the tragic loss of our Michelle. To those who called our homes, sent Mass and sympathy cards, flowers, monetary donations, donations to charities and comfort food to our home, we are forever grateful. Our heartfelt thanks to all the Healthcare Professionals from CBDHA for filling the church and lining the parking lot with their love for Michelle. To Her Co-Workers from the An Cala Unit whom she considered family and to the members of Hospice Society & Bereaved Families she would have been honoured to have you stand on her behalf.
A sincere Thank You to Fr. Ray Huntley, Deacon Leo Penny, other celebrants and the Parish of St. Leonard’s; family and Lifelong friends who participated as pallbearers, readers, offertory gift presenters and Eucharistic ministers; to the church choir and to Jenn Sheppard, Stephen Muise & Richard Burke for providing Michelle’s favorite songs. Your contribution to her beautiful service provided us with a little peace. Thank you to the CWL for the lovely lunch provided after the service.
Our hearts embrace the caring professionals who worked so hard to try and bring our Michelle back. To everyone who helped on that tragic day our sincere thanks. Thank you to Basil McGillivray Sr. & Jr. and staff for your comfort and professionalism. Our Michelle would have been humbled by the outpouring of love for her, from her family, her professional colleagues, her “girls”, lifelong friends and the community of New Waterford. Your comfort and support has helped during our tragic loss. Michelle will be missed everyday but we take comfort in knowing she will live forever in the hearts of all who share in our grief.
