MAILLET, JOSEPH
Mr. Joseph Arthur Zoel (Whistle) Maillet, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Thursday August 6, 2015 at the age of 77.
Born in Bellefond, NB, he was the son of the late Arthur and Mary (Malley) Maillet.
He was a taxi-driver and meat cutter.
He is survived by his daughter Mary Zo-Ann Anderson, Edmonton, AB; his sisters, Terry Crawford of Fredericton, NB, Ramona Shannon, of Fredericton, NB and Shirley Myers of Blackvillle, NB; his brother, Blaine Maillet of Hay River, AB; his granddaughter, Kaila; his great-grandson, Tyson- Kane; several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his brothers: Jack, Felix, David and Eugene; his sisters, Sally, Muriel, Bernice, Mazie and Margie.
A Memorial Mass and will be celebrated on Friday, September 11, 2015 at 2 p.m. at St Raphael’s Roman Catholic Church, Blackville, with Father Joseph Okoko officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
