McLAUGHLIN, CARL V. - Carl V. McLaughlin, 88, with his loving family at his side, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, September 3, 2015. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Mary McLaughlin.
Carl was retired from UIC with over 35 years’ service and attended St. Bernard’s Roman Catholic Church. He enjoyed walking, listening to Irish music and socializing with his family and friends.
Carl will be sadly missed by his loving daughter, Kelley Ann LeBlanc of Moncton; precious granddaughter, Jasmine LeBlanc; special friend, Ollie Randall; brother-in-law, Len MacLean (Odette); nieces and nephews, Danny, Donna, Denise, David, Darren and Wayne.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Vivian (MacLean) McLaughlin (2003); brothers, Louis and Gerald; sisters, Bonnie and Agnes.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Tuesday from 9:00 to 10:00 am. A Service to celebrate Carl’s life will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at 10:00 am, with Rev. Allison Carroll officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment to be held at Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
