DOUCET, M. CECILE
With heavy hearts, the family of Cecile Doucette announces her passing, which occurred on September 5th, 2015, at the Loch Lomond Village. Cecile was born on September 30, 1931 in Bathurst; a daughter of Irene Mary and Harry Doucet.

In her earlier years, Cecile worked in Maintenance and Housekeeping at St. Joseph’s Hospital, a job that she was extremely proud of. The role that she was most proud of, however, was being a devoted mother and grandmother.

Cecile is survived by her sons; Wayne (Claudette) Morrison, Stephen (Karolyn) Morrison, Brian (Brenda) Morrison, daughters; Cathy (Dale) Rourke, Susan (Bernie) Doyle, Brenda (David) Fillmore, Judy Power and Debbie Elliott, sisters Jeanette and Norma, as well as several grandchildren, great- and great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Cecile was pre-deceased by her daughter Linda Sheils, sisters Betty, Carmela, and Dorothy, brothers Tony and Roland, and her beloved companion, Bev Garnett.

Cecile’s family will receive friends at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Tuesday from 1 to 3 p.m, followed by the funeral service in the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 p.m. Interment will take place in the Garnett Settlement Cemetery.
