BRUN, GERALDINE
Geraldine Brun Doiron, 89, of Portage NB, passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC on Monday, September 7th, 2015. Born on May 15th, 1926 in Cap-Pelé, she was the daughter of the late Thadée and Alvina (Doiron) Brun.
Before her retirement, she was employed at Dom Glass in Scoudouc. She was a member of the Cap-Pelé Golden Age Club, and the parish of Ste-Thérèse D’Avila RC church.
She is survived by one daughter: Janice (Robert) Buchanan of Dieppe; three sons: Bernard (Judi Marshall) of Ottawa, Gérard (Francine) of Salisbury, Daniel (Mona) of Portage, Cap-Pelé; eight grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren as well as daughter-in-law: Bernadette of Cap-Pelé
She was predeceased by her husband: Théobald; one son: Rhéal; two sisters: Yvonne LeBlanc, infant Almira: five brothers: Léonard, Gérard, Alcide, Joseph and Patrick
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 2642 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé (577-3297) on Thursday, September 10th, 2015 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm and Friday, September 11th, 2015 from 9:30 till time of departure at 10:15am. The funeral mass will be held in Ste. Thérèse d’Avila Roman Catholic Church, 2648 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé on Friday, September 11th, 2015 at 10:30am.
In memory of Geraldine, a contribution to the Oncology unit of the Dr. Georges-L Dumont UHC or to the Ste. Thérèse d’Avila Roman Catholic Church would be appreciated.
