The death occurred peacefully at the Souris Hospital on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 of Joan McCormack of Bear River, age 76 years.
Loving mother to Clayton, Janice, Lori and mother-in-law to Lynn-Ann McCormack and David DeCourcey. Eldest sister to Donald, Ann, Gordon and Ian. Grandmother to Kyle (Heather) and Kurtis (Emma). Great-grandmother to Mariah. Predeceased by husband, Joe McCormack, and parents, Alex and Audrie Nicholls.
Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home in Souris for visiting hours on Thursday evening from 6-9 p.m. and Friday morning from 9:30 until time of funeral. Funeral mass to be held on Friday, Sept. 11, 2015 to St Margaret's Roman Catholic Church for funeral mass to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
Memorials to the P.E.I. Humane Society or Multiple Sclerosis Society would be greatly appreciated.
