Edna Williams Hearn

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edna Williams, our eldest sister. Edna was a vibrant, intelligent, beautiful woman with a loving, compassionate heart. Born May 29, 1949, to the late Mary Hearn Porier and the late Thomas Hearn. Edna leaves behind her children, David (Marlene), Christian (Karen) and Mary Beth (John). Grandchildren: Jasmine, Ruby, Declan, Chelsea and great grandson, Cohen. Brothers and sisters, Josephine, Theresa (David), Ada (Jim) Josephine, Tommy, Cyril, (Sandra), John (Loretta), Dennis (Freda). Along with many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Besides Edna's parents, she was predeceased by her stepfather Gerald Poirier and father Ivan Williams. The funeral service was held to celebrate Edna's life on Sept. 3, 2015, the cremation followed. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Sydney, Nova Scotia.
