Peacefully at the Prince Edward Home on Thursday, September 10, 2015 of Louise E. Doucette, of Charlottetown and formerly of South Rustico, age 89 years.
Beloved wife of the late Joseph Edward "Ted" Doucette and dear mother of Donna (Raymond) Arsenault. Louise is also lovingly remembered by her sisters, Norma (Ronald deceased) MacDonald, Frances (Mel) MacDougall, and brothers, Alyre (Anna deceased) Doucette, Edward (Marita) Doucette and sister-in-law, Ella Doucette. She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Bernice, sisters, Marie (Harold) Bradford, Rita (Eugene) Carragher and brothers, Cyril and Alfred Doucette.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Tuesday morning, then transferred to The Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
If so desired, contributions in memory of Louise may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the P.E.I. Humane Society.
