Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family on Saturday, September 12, 2015, Dennis Walsh, age 88 years. Predeceased by his loving wife Catherine "Kitty" (nee Seaward); parents, Dennis and Ellen Walsh; brothers: Patrick, Edward, Leo, William and Joseph; sisters: Alice Walsh, Nora Mercer, Mary Gover and Betty Sullivan. He leaves to mourn his partner, Esther; his children: Francis (Bernadette), Carmel (Leonard Earle), Patrick, Sharon (David Griffiths), Jerry, Bernard (Roxanne), Neil (Connie) and Andrew (Goldie); his 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; also leaving to mourn his dear brother, Kevin (Marie); his brother-in-law, Alf Sullivan; sisters-in-law: Madeline Walsh, Margaret Seaward and Mary Smith; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, friends and the Morgan Family. Dennis was a 3rd Degree Knight with the Father of John B Kent Knights of Columbus, and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, on Monday, September 14, from 1-9 pm. Funeral mass will take place from Mary Queen of the World, Topsail Road, on Tuesday, September 15, 2015, at 9:30 am, with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
