Gaudet, John Joseph
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Saturday September 12th, 2015, of John Joseph Gaudet of Summerside and formerly of Miscouche, aged 71 years. John was born in Miscouche, P.E.I. to his late parents Peter and Marguerite (nee Arsenault) Gaudet. Loving father of Shelley Gaudet (Steve Szcyepkowski) and Sabina (Jeff) Beaner all of Quebec. Also lovingly remembered by his four grandchildren Jamie, Nikki, Hailey and Lindsey. Survived by the following brothers and sisters Pauline Blacquiere, Linda (Dale) Yeo, Kenneth, Betty (Leo) Poirier, Brenda (Leo) LeBlanc, Nancy (Leonard) Coombs, Dianne Gaudet, Karen (George) MacKenna, Richard and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, John was predeceased by his brother, Eddie, and brother-in-law, David Blacquiere. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Tuesday Sept. 15th, then to St. John the Baptist, Miscouche for a funeral mass at 3 p.m. Interment to take place in church cemetery. Memorial donations in John’s memory to the St. John the Baptist Cemetery fund would be greatly appreciated.
