Betty slipped away quietly after a two-year, brave battle with cancer. She is greatly missed by her husband of 55 years, Monty; her sister Margaret (Arno); her brother Stewart; nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, and all their respective partners; all of Betty’s friends and neighbours; and the doctors and nurses. Many thanks to all for your kindness and condolences.
Betty was born in Montreal. She visited relatives in Ireland in 1958 then on to London to work for the BBC. She met Monty at a dance, and the rest is history. They returned to Canada in 1964. They were fortunate to travel to 25 countries while still young enough to enjoy it.
