The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Monday, Feb. 2, 2009, of Christina Evelyn Simkulet (nee Head) of Summerside and formerly of Calgary, Alta., aged 64 years. Christina was born on July 24, 1944, in Toronto, Ont. to her parents, Ernest J. and Christina E. (nee Hutchinson) Head. Beloved wife of Brian Simkulet and loving mother of Brad (Erika) of Summerside and Marci (Mike) of Calgary, Alta. Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Bronte and Milos. Following cremation, a Memorial Service will be held out of province at a later date. Brian and his family will receive friends at their home at 3 Hillside Ave., Summerside, on Thursday, Feb. 5, from 6 to 9 p.m. Memorial donations in Christina’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society may be made at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside.
