Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Joseph passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at the age of 80 years and Alice will be with him having passed away at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Monday, September 14, 2015 at the age of 88 years.
They were the loving parents of Patrick (Maha) McQuaid and Linda McQuaid and grandparents of Rhiannah, Alicia and Keira.
Joseph is also survived by his brother, Fr. Ralph McQuaid and his sister Justine (Joe) Bresson.
He was predeceased by his parents James Thomas and Mary Ellen (Malone) McQuaid, sister Shirley (Stephen) Toole and brother Gerald McQuaid.
Alice is also survived by her sisters Betty Flanagan, Mary Phelan and Nellie Lines.
She was predeceased by her parents Michael and Alice (Reddy) Ryan, sisters Anastasia Ryan, Kay Hurt, Margaret Knox and brothers, Martin, Jim, John and Ed Ryan.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home. By request there will be no visiting hours.
Funeral mass will be celebrated for Joseph and Alice from St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church, Emyvale, Lot 65 on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 2 p.m.
Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery.
