Ida Terry

The family of the late Ida R. Terry extend sincere and heartfelt thanks and appreciation for the overwhelming demonstration of caring and concern following the recent and sudden passing of our beloved Mom, Stepmother and Grandmother.

To everyone who called or visited, especially those from out of town and outside the province, and those who sent food, cards and donations, your support was greatly appreciated. Thank you ever so much to all who sent beautiful floral arrangements. Mom enjoyed her garden tremendously and we know she would have loved them.

We sincerely acknowledge HIS Fire and Rescue, and the paramedics for their immediate assistance; Fillatre’s Funeral Home for the caring and professional service, and in particular, Keith Fillatre for his personal and thoughtful gesture.

Thank you to All Hallows Church and all who assisted in any way with the funeral mass, especially Father Edward Terry for the beautiful service, readers Shelby Parsons and Rhonda Terry, and Brian Terry for his touching solo “The Ones I Love”, which was a comforting and beautiful tribute to Mom and we know she would have loved it.

We are forever grateful for the support shown to us in so many ways by Laverne Byrne and Brian and Rhonda Terry, especially on the day Mom died, Rod and Ella Terry, Joseph Byrne (Michelle), Geraldine Terry, aunt Olive and family, and Gladys Donahue. A special thank you to Jacey’s friends Sara Anderson, Nicole Parsons, Jessica Hunt and Lindsey Bennett for taking such good care of her, and Dermon and Penny Piercey for your generosity during this difficult time.

There are no words to adequately describe the shock and heartbreak of losing our dear Mom, Stepmom and Nan so soon after Dad’s passing on July 18, 2015, but please know that every gesture of love and kindness by family, friends and colleagues has been a tremendous support and will never be forgotten.

Sincerely,
Darlene (Harold), Rick (Tracey), Faye (Leonard), Shirley, Derek, Emma and Jacey.
