Passed peacefully away, at St. Luke's Mercy Home, on Wednesday Sept. 16, 2015, at the age of 86. Predeceased by her parents, Hayward and Matilda (Maye) Budgell of Grand Falls; sister, Joyce Roberts and niece Kathryn Roberts of St. John's; infant granddaughter, Cynthia Richards; and her children's father, Ronald Newhook. Leaving to mourn: her sister, Shirley Budgell; children, Bonnie Richards (Ron), Cheryl Newhook, Robert Newhook (Eva), Harry Newhook (Cindy Thornton), Cynthia Buckle (Leo), Sheila Newhook (Craig Button); her grandchildren, Michael and Robbie Richards, Kerri Lyn and Ian George, Victoria and Alexandria Newhook, Matt Matthews, Maria and Mark Buckle, Andrew and Linda Hull; and great-granddaughters Leah Matthews and Isabelle Hull. Special thanks to the staff of St. Luke's Mercy Home for their kindness and compassion. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road. Visitation will be Monday, September 21 from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral service will take place in the chapel at Carnell's Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 22, at 11:00 AM.
