GRAHAM, MICHAEL EUGENE "PAT"
Peacefully on September 18, 2015, in Saint John, surrounded by his loving family, Michael Eugene “Pat” Graham, loving husband to Clara (Lunney) Graham passed away. He was born in Fairville, NB on September 29, 1925 to the late Patrick and Amelia (Kelly) Graham.
Pat was employed with Irving Pulp and Paper for 45 years before retiring. As a young man, Pat played hockey and softball for a number of teams in the city. In his later years he enjoyed many horse shoe games and tournaments with his sons and friends in Cambridge Narrows. Pat was also known for his skills with a pool cue. He was affectionately nicknamed “Oscar the Grouch” by family and friends. Clara and Pat shared 68 years of marriage, living in both Saint John and Cambridge Narrows.
Pat will be missed by his surviving family members, his wife Clara, and their sons: Michael Joseph (Roseanne) Graham and C. Patrick (Linda) Graham, his six grandchildren: Tim (Krista), Scott (Angela), Clint (Jessica), Jill, Lindsay, and Janelle (Marc) Blanchard, his six great-grandchildren: Corey, Jersey, Isabelle, Tyler, Kate and Gregor, his in-laws, several nieces and nephews and extended family.
Besides his parents, Pat is predeceased by his sister Louise.
Resting at Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (634-7425) where visitation will be held on Monday, September 21 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Rose of Lima Church on Tuesday, September 22 at 12:00 pm, with interment to take place at Holy Cross Cemetery.
