BANNISTER, MYRTLE NANCY
1935 – 2015
Myrtle N. Bannister of Moncton passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at the Pro Tem Nursing Home in Moncton. Born in Berry Mills, she was the daughter of the late Corey and Pearl (Patriquin) Crossman.
Myrtle had many interest over the years whether it be playing the guitar, the keyboard, baking, cooking or sewing, square or round dancing with her husband Clarence and their friends. However it was taking the motorhome to Florida ever winter, which was something she always looked forward to.
She will be dearly missed by her husband, Clarence, daughter, Velma Milburn (Robert) of Shubenacadie, NS, sons; Paul of Lakeville, Stuart (Pam) of Calgary, David and Ronald (Donna) Costain, all of Edmonton, step-children; Phyllis, David (Kathy), Cathie (John), Ricky (Debbie), Bev (Fred), Kim (Larry) and Darlene (Mike) all of the Moncton area, 29 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by a brother, Irvin and a step-daughter, Nancy.
The family will be receiving friends and relatives at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview (869-2007) on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8, with a service celebrating Myrtle’s life to take place on Thursday, September 24, 2015 from Cobb’s Funeral Home Memorial Chapel at 11 AM, with Rev. Harold MacDonald officiating. Donations to the First Church of The Nazarene or the memorial or the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
