It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one at Brookfield Hospital, Brookfield on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 Reta Stokes age 81 years of Cape Freels. Predeceased by her husband Charles Stokes and parents Eli & Emily West. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her son Carl Stokes (Bernice); daughters Emily Stagg (Ben) and Faye Goodyear (Kirk) all of Cape Freels; brothers Manuel (Emma), Fred of Lumsden and Morris (Beatrice) of Mount Pearl; grandchildren Lisa, Paul, Jamie, Justin, Ashley & Lucas; great-grandchildren Eden, Alexa, Amber & Brody as well as a large circle of family & friends. Rested at Kittiwake Funeral Home from where the funeral service took place on Friday, September 18, 2015 at 11 A.M. with Pastor Chris Starkey officiating. Interment followed at the Cape Freels Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Cape Freels Cemetery.
