Reta Mary McCabe
Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday, September 19, 2015, of Mrs. Reta M. McCabe (nee Lamphier), of the Garden Home, age 84 years.
Beloved wife of the late Leslie McCabe and dear mother of Merrill McCabe, Smithers, B.C., Brian (Nancy) McCabe, West Covehead, and Kevin McCabe, Calgary, AB. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Sarah (Brendon) Phillips, Cory (Suzanne) McCabe and Justin (Julie) MacIntyre; great-grandchildren, Cody MacIntyre, Connor MacIntyre, Mark, Denver and Brayden McCabe; brothers and sister, Francis Lamphier, Danny (Bernie) Lamphier, Johnny (Glennis MacKenzie) Lamphier and Helen (Kenny) McGuigan, and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Terrence and Elizabeth (nee Ready) Lamphier; sisters, Helen A. Lamphier and Margaret Myers, and sister-in-law Ada Lamphier.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Tuesday morning, then transferred to St. Eugene’s Church, Covehead for funeral mass at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in the parish cemetery. Visiting hours on Monday 6 - 9 p.m.
