Sarah Taylor

TAYLOR, SARAH (ROBERTSON)
1985 - 2015
Sarah was a sparkling and radiant star that shone her light so bright that she touched all those she came in contact with so it is with heavy hearts and much love, we announce Sarah (Robertson) Taylor was called home by her Lord and Saviour on September 15, 2015 at the age of thirty. Heaven is now a brighter place.
Sarah demonstrated her unique qualities from the time she was born with her thick black locks of hair, her love for her four-legged furry feline friends, a true compassion for mankind and a smile that could light up a room the moment she entered. The black locks soon turned golden and we watched her evolve from the little blonde girl with the big beautiful eyes transform into an outstanding woman traveling the world and living in places many only dream of. Sarah initially moved from her hometown in Moncton, NB and settled in Edmonton, AB to attend university to follow her passion of becoming a Respiratory Therapist and consequently adorned her “angel wings” to spread her life-saving gift to patients with respiratory illness in Alberta and Australia. She began a brave and courageous fight against brain cancer in January 2013 and she did not let this define her life. In fact, she lived it more fully than ever marrying her utmost soul mate Matt Taylor surrounded by family and friends on the beautiful island of Santorini, Greece and they joined together in their love of travel and adventure. Sarah possessed a cosmic quality of bringing people together and you couldn’t help but embrace her warmth and heartfelt generosity. She was a leader and wise beyond her years teaching us all about the true bravery of taking risks, how to live and love fully and with every piece of her heart. Sarah has been an inspiration to us all and in particular with her brave fight against cancer.
Sarah will be forever remembered by her husband and love of her life Matt Taylor, parents Joey and Debbie Robertson, brother Matthew (Bethany) Robertson, grandmother Joan Robertson, uncle Don (Marlene) Robertson, aunts Leslie (John) Hunter, Barbara Pack and Angela (Terry) Geddes, cousins and countless friends, extended family and work colleagues.
Sarah was predeceased by her maternal grandparents Floyd and Betty Watt and her paternal grandfather, Robert (Bob) Robertson.
Please join us in the Celebration of Life ceremony and collectively unite our memories of Sarah at 2:00 pm Monday, September 28, 2015 at Lewisville Baptist Church located at 109 Pleasant Street, Moncton, NB being officiated by Rev. Gordon MacLeod. A gathering will be held in the church following the service.
Memorial donations in Sarah’s honour may be made directly to the Moncton SPCA to pay tribute to her love and compassion for animals.
