POIRIER, AURORE
Aurore Poirier of College Bridge passed away at the CHU Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital on Wednesday September 23, 2015 at the age of 86. Born in Memramcook on July 19, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Eddie Dupuis and the late Elodie LeBlanc.
She was a member of the Golden Age Club of Memramcook and the Historic Society of Memramcook.
She will be sadly missed by her husband, Laurie; four daughters, Thérèse Poirier (Louis) of Dieppe, Pauline Price, Aline Poirier (Jean-Paul) and Gérène (Louis-Philippe) Leger all of Memramcook; two sons, Roger (Simonne) Poirier of Breau Creek and Normand (Dolorèse) Poirier of Memramcook East; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one brother, Roméo (Maria) Dupuis of Stoney Creek, ON; and by several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by three great-grandchildren; four sisters, Eveline, Bernice, Doris and Beatrice and by two brothers Léandre and Lionel.
Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home on Sunday, September 27 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. Funeral mass will be held at Saint Thomas de Memramcook Roman Catholic Church on Monday, September 28 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
