CORMIER, RITA T.
Gardner, Mass - Rita T. Cormier, 84, died peacefully Friday, September 11, 2015 in her residence surrounded by family. Born in Pellerin, N.B. on November 30, 1930 she was the daughter of the late John and Annee (LeBlanc) Cormier.
Rita was employed for many years at the former Gardner Manor Nursing Home, retiring in 1995.
Rita loved travelling to Canada to visit family and friends and she treasured spending time with her grandchildren.
Rita was predeceased by her husband of 37 years, Leonard Cormier who died in 1985, as well as her five year old son Yvon and four brothers Laurie, Omer, Donald and Deus.
She leaves one son Edward Cormier (Linda) and five daughters Lorraine Bastarache (Norman), Aline Johnson (Albert), lrma Kelly (Bill), Huberte Rioux (Gary), Ann Leger (Mike), two brothers Adelire (Huberte), Gerald (Marie), two sisters Noella LeBlanc (Emery) and lrene Gauvin, 14 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.
Rita was buried in Notre Dame Cemetery in Gardner, Mass.
