It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Dominic J. Sasco at his home in Angus, Ontario on Sept. 14, 2015.
Born in Sydney, N.S. on Nov. 14, 1942, he was the son of the late Michel and Margaret (MacArthur) Sasco.
He retired from the RCAF as a warrant officer after 31 years as a photographer and served in Canada and overseas,
After retirement he was ordained a deacon in Toronto in 2004 and served his ministry at Holy Spirit Parish in Barrie, Ont.
He is survived by his wife Paulette (Haskett); sons, John and Peter Jazwinski. He is also survived by his sister Jane Marie (Brian) Leslie of Dartmouth, N.S. and his brother Donald (Clare) Sasco of Sydney; nieces and nephews, Michael, Robert, Kelli, Nicole, and Michelle.
Funeral mass and burial took place Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015 in Barrie, Ont.
