Slipped away in the company of her family after a long battle with COPD, on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at the Health Science Complex, age 69 years. Predeceased by her husband Michael; parents George and Florence Chapter; mother and father-in-law Harold and Blanche McNiven; brothers-in-law Br. Patrick McNiven and Val McNiven. Leaving to mourn her daughter Andrea (Ryan) Oliver and her grand puppy Luna; sisters Patsy (Austin) Robinson and Brenda (Harvey) Chafe; sisters-in-law Betty McNiven; Helen McNiven, Paula (Bill) Rees and Barb McNiven; brothers-in-law David (Connie) McNiven, Greg McNiven, Gerald (Mary) Anstey; aunt Dorothy Dooley and uncle Joe Shapter, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends. Thank you to the staff of 4 North B and 4 South A at the Health Science and to the staff of Glenbrook Lodge for their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. Visitation from Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Monday from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 12-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. from St. Teresa's Church. Inurnment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Asthma Society of Canada.
