The family of the late A. Leonard Hiscock extend sincere thanks and appreciation for the love and support we received during the recent loss of a dear husband, father, father-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.

He lived a very simple life that exemplified the joy of family, laughter, doing a good day’s work and being thankful for his many blessings.

To everyone who called or visited, sent food, cards, flowers, prayers and donations, and to the many who travelled to be with us at this difficult time your support was very much appreciated.

Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Western Memorial third floor, ALC unit on the fifth floor and the Rufus Guinchard Health Centre Long Term Care in Port Saunders. A special thank you to his home care workers for the great care he received and to anyone we may have missed our thanks to you for being there for us during the last couple of years.

Thank you Dave and the staff at Parson’s Funeral Home for their help, kindness and compassion throughout this difficult time.

Thanks to Reverend Newell and Reverend Parsons for their visits and Reverend Vardy for his many visits and the beautiful service. Thank you to the organist and choir for the beautiful music. Special thanks to his sons and grandsons for being pallbearers and to Kim for the beautiful song she sang in the church.
