Lois Jean Stephenson Campbell

It is with the greatest sorrow that we, the family of Jean Lois Stephenson Campbell announce her passing on this day Sept. 27, 2015.
Born in Sydney, N.S., on Nov. 17, 1931, the daughter of Edward and Dorothy Stephenson.
She is mourned by her siblings, passed and present, Eleanor, Marion, Robert (Bo), Shirley (Sheila), Jack, Gillis, Sandra, Barbara, Donna and Roland.
She was predeceased by our loved father and grandfather/great-grandfather Second World War Veteran James 'Lucky' Campbell of Glace Bay, N.S. as well as her eldest daughter Wendy Marlene Campbell.
She is survived by her loving children and their spouses, Evelyn Lillian, Jean Ann (Michelle Desjardin), Gertrude Georgina 'Georgie' (Robert Ruley), Lowell Arnold James 'Lowie', Tony Shepherd (Wendy); her grandchildren, Leslie Maynard, Shauna Lynn, Blair Justin, Leslie, Skylor Lynn, Coady James and our furry 'Boo' as well as six beautiful great-grandchildren.
In our hearts and memories she shall forever burn bright. Her laughter shall forever ring loudly. Her smile forever will light our way. We love you all the gold in the world Mommy. Rest easy until we are all together again.
A graveside service will take place Thursday, Oct. 1, 2015 at 2 p.m. in Forest Haven Memorial Gardens, Grand Lake Road, Sydney, N.S.
