Age 79, passed away peacefully on Sept. 28, 2015 at St. Martha’s Hospital, Antigonish. Clarence was born in St. Peters on Dec. 9, 1935.
He is survived by his wife, Sheila; children, Claire, Andy (Lenn), Robbie (Sheila), Paul, Glenda (Barb) and Scott (Debbie); grandchildren, Lindsay, Stephanie, Eric, Kennedy, Cassidy and Ryan; brothers, John (Annie), Bobby (Charlotte), James, Shirley (Phonse), Sally, Betty (Martin) and his beloved Daisy Mae and Gunner.
Clarence spent many years working in construction. He was a part of the construction crew that built the Canso Causeway. He was a blueberry farmer for many years and was very involved in the blueberry business. Clarence loved the outdoors and nature and was happiest puttering around his yard, tending to his vegetable gardens, and tapping his maple trees. He loved to reminisce about his travels and adventures and had many stories about his fishing buddy, Roy. He will be deeply missed.
Cremation has taken place and there will be a private graveside service.
